नई दिल्ली: असम के राष्ट्रीय नागरिक रजिस्टर (एनआरसी) के दूसरे और अंतिम मसौदा को सोमवार को कड़ी सुरक्षा के बीच जारी कर दिया गया. कुल 3.29 करोड़ आवेदन में 2.89 करोड़ लोगों के नाम नेशनल रजिस्टर में शामिल किए गए हैं. वहीं 40 लाख लोगों का नाम ड्राफ्ट में नहीं है. हालांकि यह फाइनल लिस्ट नहीं है ड्राफ्ट है. जिनका नाम इसमें शामिल नहीं है वह इसके लिए दावा कर सकते हैं. एनआरसी में उन सभी भारतीय नागरिकों के नाम, पते और फोटोग्राफ हैं जो 25 मार्च, 1971 से पहले से असम में रह रहे हैं. पहली लिस्ट में 1.9 करोड़ लोगों को वैध नागरिक के रूप में मान्यता दी गई थी.
यह आंकड़े एनआरसी ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट के आदेश के बाद जारी किए हैं. एनआरसी का कहना है कि यह सिर्फ मसौदा है, अंतिम सूची नहीं है. एनआरसी के रजिस्ट्रार जनरल शैलेश ने जानकारी दी है कि जिन लोगों का नाम पहले मसौदे में था और अंतिम मसौदे से गायब है, उन्हें एनआरसी की ओर से व्यक्तिगत पत्र भेजा जाएगा. इसके जरिये वह अपना दावा पेश कर सकेंगे.
